The nursery
Blackbrook Herb Gardens was established in 1987 as a specialist landscaper / nursery, designing, planting and maintaining herb gardens. Although on a small scale, the nursery grows an interesting range of culinary, medicinal and historic herb plants and wild flowers.
We are located in a residential setting in an acre of colourful gardens which include the majority of our stock plants. The space provides a mixture of sunny and shady conditions where herbs and wild flowers are encouraged to grow in harmony with trees, shrubs, vegetables and bedding plants.
The garden is a mainly informal setting and has now been in the family for 50 years. By arrangement, visitors can view herbs growing in a range of conditions at different stages of maturity. We are not a garden centre and our single greenhouse is unheated for most of the year. Our plants are naturally tough and used to the northern climate.

The nursery is located in Wilmslow, Cheshire, just south of the King's Arms roundabout. Please call us for detailed directions.
We are generally open Sunday mornings throughout the year, through spring and summer we open from 10:30 till 4:30 on Sundays, and often Saturdays / evenings - Please can we recommend a telephone call if you are coming a distance.
